This 000 size guitar sings to the
deft touch of finger picking, yet it has enough volume and projection to
cut through when called on. The maple model is bright and
articulate, while the sapele version has a rich warmth.
The Perretta FS Special is a modern design that draws inspiration from the pre-war orchestra model guitars. 25" scale length, 12 frets to the body, 1-13/16" nut width and cutaway make this guitar a finger picker's delight.
With its vintage good looks, plus a few modern appointments, our Perretta BG is a hit with country pickers and bluegrassers. The sound is rich and powerful, with that airy quality of pre-war dreadnoughts.
Don't let the small size fool you! The SMP is a serious guitar for the singer/songwriter to frame lyric with melody in private, but it is also perfect for intimate performance.
