This is an interesting guitar, specially designed and built for Dale Clark. To the typical spruce top with Torres-style bracing, rosewood back and sides, and traditional Spanish heel, we added a Venetian cutaway and joined the neck at the 14th fret rather than the 12th. The neck shaft has a soft "V" profile and the bridge is a modified pyramid design. L.R. Baggs electronics and Gilbert tuning machines make this a performance-friendly instrument.
Padouk headplate veneer with mother-of-pearl logo inlay.
With a traditional Spanish heel, the neck and head block are one piece. The Indian rosewood back is contiguous with the heel cap. The padouk binding and b/w/b purfling die into angled lands where the neck and body meet.
